Hydro Angels Over Texas (America) was featured on Fox KABB 29, Focus on South Texas. Sheri Burdine, President and Mallory Patzke with son Macade, Katherine Hawk with her son Morgan spoke with Mikela Lincoln about their  (3) different journeys of diagnoses and living with hydrocephalus. Fox29 did a fantastic job airing information about hydrocephalus; our HAOT organization, and our April 2, event was mentioned. Although the show aired at 5:30am Sat. March 26 & Sun.27, we believe we made a difference, at least one more step closer to awareness.

Every child who has hydrocephalus that is admitted to Dell Children's due to hydrocephalus  will receive a fuzzy friend named Hydro Bear. He is a special bear created by Sheri Burdine founder of Hydro Angels Over Texas. His t-shirt has a sweet poem on it that reminds the child they are not alone. This is more than a partnership, it is HOPE. Hope for a future of awareness to families who are hearing the  diagnoses for the 1st time and finding out HAOT exist. It is a win-win for all involved. Hydrocephalus Awareness Matters and so does having a friend like Hydro Bear.
